Oh, Ashley
You broke our hearts yesterday. We understand though, because not all cats get to live to be almost 19. You gave new meaning to the name Badass. When you were very little you’d climb the drapes and the fireplace bricks. If someone were talking too loudly while you were sleeping on their lap, you’d wake up just long enough to bite a chin, or a nostril, or even an eyelid as if to say “shut the hell up, already.” Remember that time you were bitten by a snake and we stayed up with you all night to see if you’d live? Remember the time I came home and caught you sleeping next to Bridget with your head on her pillow and your arm around her neck as if you were her husband? You even won over Dad. You were a special member of the family and we will miss you.

i am so sorry to hear about your cat. i totally understand what it is like to lose a pet- it's a furry member of the family. :o(
You classified the whole Barbie group of cats long before Barbie ruled the planet.
I believe the cats in your neighborhood (who's asses you whipped, even as an elderly cat) are mourning this loss as well. You were known county-wide and protected your Dad's house better than any pit bull could have. Hell, you'd have told a pit bull to stick it up their ass (in cat-speak, of course).
Dear Ashley, we know you loved your family, even when you played the "I forgot who you are so bite me, you mutha!" game. With a spirit like yours I'm sure your kicking butt and taking names while crossing the rainbow bridge.
Just be nice to Kitty-my-love for me, ok?
She sure did have some spunk. We'll miss you girl.
Awwwww...poor Ashley. She will be missed. I hope she does meet up with KML.
Such a loss, but how wonderful that y'all had almost 19 years with that precious spirit!
So so sorry for you. Just remember, faithful friends run ahead and wait for us in a better place.
Of course this could mean she is waiting to jump out at you when you cross the "rainbow bridge" and bite your ankles.
I was so sad, I typed "your" instead of "you're". Duh.
Thanks, guys.
That's so sad! I figured she would outlive all of us (especially considering some of our experiences)! Rest in peace, pretty girl.
